We met in the tiny outback town of Lightning Ridge, NSW — Beth was the only Speechie in town, and Holly was still studying OT while helping out with admin work.

We quickly bonded over a shared love of plants and travel, and before long, Holly packed up and moved out west after finishing her degree. The rest is history. We ended up living together, working side by side, heading off on holidays, and soon Beth will stand by Holly's side when she gets married.

We started Belly and Co. after a lightbulb moment one afternoon at work. As children's therapists, we realised that so many children’s books were meant to help kids learn… but often used complex language and left out the “how.”

So we teamed up to create a different kind of — one that supports developmental milestones while also building regulation, communication and connection.
